Sea Monster Attack (aka Watching The Waves) - Freddie Gilroy Memorial, Scarborough North Bay
This is actually a giant steel structure created by Ray Lonsdale an artist fabricator and sculptor. It is based on a retired miner who also happened to be one of the first soldiers to relieve the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp at the end of World War II.
