The Cloughton signal box is seen in the foreground of this view (it is now demolished), and there is a goods yard behind the buildings. The stationmaster lived in the three bedroomed house with the ticket office and waiting room in the single story section adjoining the house . |

Track laying for a camping coach |

Cloughton Station is now the home of a tea room and a newly installed camping coach. The goods warehouse building also still stands. Unfortunately the contractors installing the electricity cables between Scarborough and Whitby have left something of a mess in the yard (their vehicles are stored on the Trailway beyond the station). Hopefully they will restore their mess before departing. |
