Flinton Grove School opened in 1931 for infants, juniors and senior girls. After 1945 there were three schools: Flinton High and separate juniors and infants. An amalgamation in 1980 with Southcoates Junior High created the mixed Foredyke Junior High School. Today, the premises are home to Foredyke Primary School.
