Welcome to the Yorkshire Coast Railway web site. The aim is to bring information about the railways around the Yorkshire Coast, both past and present. It is also planned to recreate these routes virtually using the Microsoft Train Simulator, and progress on this project will appear on these pages.

Locos 48151 and 5972 ‘Olton Hall’ newly arrived at Scarborough in readiness for the Scarborough Spa Express service to York. Hopefully both locos are fully fit to fulfil their duties this season.
